This is one you wont see every day! 1955 Chevy 210 2 door hardtop. With 1,714,595 Chevrolet cars produced in 1955. 185,562 were Bel Air hardtops and only 11,675 210 hardtops were produced. That comes to 0.7% being 210 Sport Coupes. The car was frame off restored and I have a photo album to document the work. The car has had 15 miles put on the clock since the restoration. The frame is a seamless frame and was stripped and painted with POR 15, all of the bushings and lines were replaced as well as the steering and suspension being rebuilt. The body is in very nice condition in Indian Ivory and Sea Mist Green. The color looks more blue than green to me but the builder swore it was correct. The cars floors and trunk were replaced and the car was finished in the body color underneath. The chrome and britework are all very nice as well as the rubber and glass. The rear glass has some light scratches maybe from an ice scraper from way back when. The 265 v8 runs great, it was rebuilt to stock specs during the restoration, it is backed by a 3 speed manual transmission and a stock axle with 3:55 gearing. The last four digits on the front pad of the engine are "T"-Tonawonda, "55" year 1955 and "G" stands for 1955 265 backed by a 3 speed manual. The engine compartment is detailed very nice and features the optional engine oil filter. The interior is two tone green with light and dark green patterned cloth and vinyl. Everything looks to have been replaced and is very nice. The photos I have document the complete interior being gutted with fresh paint on the dash and all.
