Just in... this 1953 Ford F-1 street rod pickup. The truck is a very nice example of a street rodded pickup. The body is very nice and straight with no rust damage or issues. The paint is about 5 years old and still very nice. We actually sold the truck to the previous owner just after the build was completed in 2009. It was stored in a climate controlled garage and driven very little with only 2100 miles on the build. During the restoration all of the chrome and britework including the bumpers, mirrors,handles,latches were replaced. The glass is all new and tinted glass. All of the rubber and weatherstriping is new. Nothing was left untouched. The chassis is the stock one with a Volare front suspension for a great ride and steering. The rear axle is a Dakota with 2:45 gearing for cruising at highway speeds. The engine is a GM Reman 350 one piece rear main seal engine. The transmission is a TH-350 that was rebuilt just this last year. The truck runs and drives great with no known issues mechanically. Power steering and power front disc brakes make this thing a snap to drive. The truck also has a serpintine belt system that includes an A/C compressor. The 350 has a GM aluminum intake manifold with a new 1 week old Edelbrock carb. The truck was fitted with electronic ignition and a new modern aftermarket wiring harness for reliability. New steelies and caps were installed wrapped in radial tires.On the inside the black bench seat interior is very nice. The headliner ,carpeting, door panels, seat and visiors were refinished when the truck was restored. Dolphin Aftermarket gauges were used in the build and everything is working including the wipers, horn and dome light. Seat belts were also installed for saftey. The truck does not have heat or A/C at this point, with the GM compressor already in place a simple vintage A/C unit would do the trick. The lettering on the truck is all decals and can easily be removed with no issues. The truck always was stored inside so ther is no fear of any fading. Call Scott with any questions at 615 476 1195
