Just in... this 1970 Chevelle SS 454 LS-5 CAR. This Chevelle has underwent a total body off restoration. The car is super straight and very detailed in every way. The SS is an original code 75 Cranberry red car with 771 saddle bucket interior. The build date is 01C (March 1, 1970) The powerplant is a LS-5 454 with the CRQ suffix code. The VIN number is also stamped on the front pad upside down as many were. (pictured) The casting number on the block is 3563512 with a casting date of L189 (DEC 18 1969) The transmission matches the car also with the partial VIN stamping on the casing. The 12 bolt rear axle is a CRV code 3:31 posi LS-5/LS-6. The build date is 12/23 and the casting date on the housing is L129. The car is very fresh and neat with nothing left untouched in the build. The interior was changed from saddle to red during the build. Everything is working but the horn and the car runs and drives wonderfully. The side glasses are original but the windshield and rear glass were replaced, All of the chrome and britework are also nice as is the weatherstripping.
